    Product Introduction

    Jaw crushers, also known as jaw breakers or tiger mouths, consist of two jaw plates, a moving jaw and a fixed jaw, forming a crushing chamber. They crush materials by simulating the movement of an animal's jaws. They are widely used in various industries, including mining and metallurgy, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy, and chemicals, for crushing various ores and large-sized materials.

    PE and PEX series jaw crushers have a large crushing ratio and produce uniformly sized products. The maximum compressive strength of the crushed material is 320 MPa. The PE series is used for coarse crushing, while the PEX series is used for medium and fine crushing.

    Jaw Crusher Structural Features:

    The frame can be welded or cast.

    Welded frames use large-radius transition fillets and low-stress zone welding, significantly reducing stress concentration and ensuring uniform strength in all directions. They are characterized by impact resistance, even stress distribution, and a low failure rate.

    Working Principle

    The working parts of a jaw crusher are two jaw plates: a fixed jaw plate, vertically (or slightly inclined upward) fixed to the front wall of the machine body; and a moving jaw plate, positioned at an angle, forming a crushing chamber (working chamber) that is larger at the top and smaller at the bottom.

    The moving jaw plate performs a periodic reciprocating motion against the fixed jaw plate, sometimes separating and sometimes approaching. When separated, materials enter the crushing chamber, and finished products are discharged from the bottom; when approaching, the materials between the two jaw plates are subjected to compression, bending, and splitting, resulting in crushing.
